Find some laughs
It is a dating rite of passage to visit a comedy club. But even if these days we can’t (and shouldn’t) cram together in a dimly lit club, we can still make you laugh.
Many of New York’s top comedians are putting on virtual stand-up shows. To see which of your favorite local comedians are streaming their sets, you can also search in your region.

Treat it like a “real” date (because that’s what it is)
Just like dating in 2019 B.C. (Before Corona), the secret to having a good time is your attitude. Just because you’re alone in your room doesn’t make it a real date any less. In something that makes you feel confident, dress up. Have your hair cleaned. If that’s your thing, put on a little makeup. To make yourself feel like, yeah, you do what you need to do.
