GeForce Now (Nvidia Shield, PC, Mac)
You own a Mac, an Nvidia Shield, or a low-end PC, but would you like to play the new AAA games? With GeForce Now, without having to worry about your machine catching fire or, worse, running Bootcamp, you can play the most recent and best from major publishers.
GeForce Now is not, as many of the other providers on our list, a content provider. The games you choose to play in a digital store, such as Steam, Uplay, or Blizzard’s Battle.net, must be purchased. GeForce’s cloud-based processors will allow you to run the game on any computer, regardless of its specifications, once you have installed the software on your machine.
GeForce is now compatible with a wide variety of games, but to use them with the service, you have to purchase them. The list includes Assassin’s Creed Origins, Battlegrounds of Player Unknown, Injustice 2, Civilization VI of Sid Meier, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, to name a few. Even behemoths will be available to play via this service, such as the forthcoming Cyberpunk 2077. GeForce Has completed beta testing and is now available in three separate tiers.
