Casual games work well on mobile devices. For instance, after a stressful day at work, a few levels of Monument Valley are the ideal way to unwind on the bus journey home. Other games place a higher value on exploration and innovation, challenging players to think beyond the box. Even if you’re not a huge fan of mobile games, you should still try some of them since they’re really beautiful.
1. Candy Crush Saga
It’s a straightforward matching game with a sweet theme in terms of gameplay. A board must be cleared out by matching at least three tiles to cause them to “pop,” and only then can you gradually advance through the levels. Some glitches might alter the game’s difficulty. There may be difficult blocks on the board that are immovable and cannot be removed. It tests your ability to identify the impostor among the crew members, much like Mafia or Werewolf. The Impostor, chosen at random at the start of a battle, will, nonetheless, be attempting to assassinate every crew member and/or disrupt the operation.
To kill everyone, the Impostor will need to employ various devious techniques, such as moving fast via the ventilation system, placing bodies at random, and deceiving the other players, so they take the blame.
4. Godus
Godus is an innovative god game that combines features from several genres to keep you hooked for hours. Even though there is a lot to manage, Godus’ serene aesthetics and straightforward construction techniques make it the perfect casual game. It’s ideal for those looking for a routine game with a bit more depth than others, and if you feel tired, you can always smite your population and restart.
5. Stardew Valley
The game respects the Story of Seasons series by having many similarities, but it also drastically improves players’ quality of life. In the game, you take on the role of a burned-out office worker at Joja Corporation before abandoning your job and moving to Pelican Town to take over your grandfather’s farm. It has a fun blend of dungeon crawling, dating simulators, and agricultural simulator gameplay.
